Leading Exercise To Create Feeling
Halter and Lead, walk next to horse. Look off in the distance, not an any one object. Focus on breathing in deep to your stomach. Hold it for two seconds and slowly breath out. Repeat this while walking in a straight line. Try not to notice what you are seeing around you, but what you are feeling inside your body. For example, your diaphragm expanding, the bottom of your feet walking on uneven ground, feel your horses presents next to you and so on. Feel what your horse is doing with out looking at him. Continue to walk in a straight line and stop with out pulling on horse. Don’t look at him and start walking again. Continue to focus on feeling the air you inhale and exhale.
